Meet James

As an intuitive and results-oriented professional coach with 15 years of experience, I assist people in accomplishing their goals and to better dealing with stressors in and out of the workplace. While the latter part of my career was in Organizational Development, I spent decades before that working in line-management roles. I watched teams and operations work at every level and experienced what my clients face today. It allowed me great insight as I transitioned into coaching within and outside the workplace.

As an organization development leader, my role involved coaching all levels of the business. I was passionate about helping emerging, and new leaders achieve their and their teams' goals. I am also highly passionate about group process and facilitation of teams, which involves facilitating learning and change in groups and group sessions. In 2020, I decided to pivot my career to focus solely on coaching because I believe it is a powerful process for achieving goals.

I earned a Master's degree in Organization Development from Loyola University Chicago. I was certified in January 2023 as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), accredited by the International Coaching Federation.

I live in Austin, TX, and enjoy time with my spouse, family, and friends, cycling, hiking, reading, and volunteering, with a focus on empowering children to cope with challenges in healthy ways and live their best lives.
